How exciting that my 100th post comes on Xmas Eve.....a big pat on the back to myself for keeping it going and thanks to everyone who has visited my blog so far. I have embraced the idea of 'giving' this Christmas, making gingerbread and hand-drawn ceramics for my friends as gifts. I love the slippery and clean surfaces of the sourced second-hand ceramics that I am drawing on, and the slightly nervous feelings of having to get the lines right first time! These first attempts take inspiration from my travels around South East Asia, shells and fabric patterns. Definitely an ongoing project I think.
