....from the lovely East Dulwich traditional sweet shop Hope and Greenwood

More photos from the Kalender/Wit exhibition in Antwerp, other posts here and here. A collection of aged and used footballs - torn edging, unstitched leather, faded prints, spongy skin, cracked and dry, deformed and deflated, flaking, weathered and worn.

Sights and sounds along the South bank on a cold sunny Autumn day. Very disappointed with the Sunflower Seeds exhibition by Ai Weiwei at the Tate Modern (see my post here) - problems with dust from the porcelain has meant no-one can actually walk across the floor after all.

Collections of found objects - categorised into colours, shapes, materials, size. Memories of places. Used and discarded. Creating beautiful displays in rows, columns, multiples - ordered and thoughtfully placed. Preserved in wooden boxes. Photographed at the Kalender/Wit exhibition at the M HKA gallery, Antwerp.
The Wallpaper Dress is currently being shown in an exhibition called reTHINK! at the Audax Textile Museum in Tilburg, Netherlands, alongside work by influential designers such as Rebecca Earley, Suzanne Lee, mischer'traxler, Kate Goldsworthy and Atelier NL. Very exciting!

Gorgeous Little Gem-style mini cupcakes in vintage colours....thanks Philippa!

I was very lucky to be whisked away by my team at work for tea, finger sandwiches and cake at this new design shop and cafe in Kings Cross called Drink, Shop & Do. All of the vintage furniture, homeware and designer products in the cafe are for sale and the menu is full of fantastical treats such as a teacup of sherbet, Alice in Wonderland tea and some gorgeous-sounding cocktails with basil, elderflower and rose syrup.
