Cinematic projections

I loved this exhibition by Tacita Dean at the Turbine Hall in the Tate Modern, an 11 minute silent 35mm film projected onto a 13 metre high wall featuring a montage of black and white, colour and hand-tinted film. The colour-blocking and sliced imagery took on a very graphic and interesting collage effect, while the enormous scale allowed the viewer to immerse themselves in the landscape (I particularly love the little boy in the bottom image who looks like he can feel the wind blowing off the waves).
