My dream apartment

This is the gorgeous apartment we stayed in during our trip to Antwerp - we spent the first hour (and many more after) just running around staring at everything and taking a hundred photographs. One of the most inspiring parts of our inspirational trip, and we didn't even have to leave the flat!

The 19th century town house is owned by a fashion designer and chef couple who travel the world collecting antique furniture and flea market finds to fill the 3 rooms and 2 apartments at the Boulevard Leopold guest house. Many more posts to come.....

Bon voyage

I am off to Paris today for work, covering Premiere Vision fabric trade show until Friday and then hitting the flea markets to source vintage fabrics and trimmings on Saturday - very exciting! So hopefully I will bring back lots of great photos too.

This picture was sent to me by my lovely friend Parusha - a montage of pictures on her wall with one of my photos (bottom right) from when we were in Cape Town a couple of years ago for her wedding. I love the bold yellow background, it makes everything seem sunny and warm....bring on the summer!
