Embroidered panel
Such a beautiful charity shop find! A hand-embroidered Peruvian (?) panel with the most exquisite colour and decoration.I have no idea what to do with it but it fits the width of L's cot perfectly.

Light show switchover
Wow - we just watched the Crystal Palace transmitter tower light up to mark the switchover from analogue to digital TV. A beautiful, serene and ghostly (lots of cloud!) image of colours and laser beams flickering and dancing in the sky. Plus we had the best view from our roof terrace!

Dot patterns
A little plate inspired by the Obliteration Room exhibition at the Tate Modern (see my post here). A cute Romanian plate (20p charity shop find) covered in Yayoi Kusama-designed sticky dots, and accessoried with L's yellow polka dot hairbands.

Noddy teacups
We took a little nostalgic trip to the funfair at Stourport-on-Severn while visiting family in the Midlands and came across this Noddy teacup ride - fantastic graphics, colours and quirky little sayings. I particularly love that "Noddy is sweeping"!!

Easter baking
Instead of buying chocolate eggs, we did a spot of baking and made up some little hampers for L's friends.....gingerbread biscuits, chocolate cornflake nests and banana muffins, with the addition of a few foil-covered chocolate bunnies. In return, she received a cute fabric pouch of mini creme eggs and a beautifully wrapped Buttons egg.
